Day 1: Arusha-Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, depart Arusha and drive to Tarangire National Park for your first game drive. The park is known for its large elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, seasonal wetlands, and rich variety of wildlife.

Spend the day exploring the park’s grasslands and woodland areas. You may encounter elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffaloes, antelopes, and different bird species. Lions and other predators can also be spotted in the park.

After the game drive, continue to your lodge for dinner and relaxation.

Day 2: Tarangire-Lake Manyara National Park-Karatu

After breakfast, leave Tarangire and continue to Lake Manyara National Park. This beautiful park features groundwater forests, open plains, wetlands, and the scenic Lake Manyara.

Enjoy a game drive while searching for elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, hippos, monkeys, and a wide variety of birds. The park’s changing landscapes make the game drive both scenic and rewarding.

After the safari, continue to Karatu and check into your lodge. Spend the evening relaxing and enjoying the peaceful surroundings.

Day 3: Karatu-Ngorongoro Crater-Karatu

After breakfast, drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a full-day game drive.

The crater is one of Tanzania’s most remarkable wildlife areas, supporting a high concentration of animals throughout the year. During the game drive, you may see lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest, hippos, and possibly the endangered black rhino.

Enjoy a picnic lunch in the designated area before continuing your wildlife exploration. Later, ascend from the crater and return to your lodge in Karatu.

Day 4: Karatu-Arusha-Departure

After breakfast, begin your journey back to Arusha. The drive takes you through the scenic landscapes and agricultural areas of northern Tanzania.

Depending on your departure time, you may have an opportunity to stop at a local market or enjoy some free time in Arusha before continuing to Kilimanjaro International Airport.

Your 4-Day Tanzania Lodge Safari ends with memorable experiences of Tanzania’s wildlife, landscapes, and natural beauty.
